ZyBooks was nothing like. It is easy to use, works in all browsers even with ad-block, and has great teaching methods. A good tool to learn if you put the work in. I think it conveys material in a way that is easily understood. I wish more of my classes used zyBooks. It provides an easy way for us to study the material. Install the script, preferably using ViolentMonkey. That is really useful for me having such a short attention span. But programming is all about precision, plus many apps are for phones or webpages where formatting matters. So since the week before spring break when all classes when to the online format, the zyBooks assignments and exercises were INCREDIBLY helpful. Zybooks is interactive but it would be better if there is a lecture video before the topic and then the interactive section. Usually, I generally am okay with zyBooks for the few classes I take it with. The educational content is good. It explains the material quite well. However it can be confusing to read the text of programming, making learning how to code difficult. Pretty good learning platform, has been pretty useful. Students voluntarily spend twice as much time with zyBooks compared to traditional textbooks, even though the zyBooks have half as much text. My favorite of the online textbook solutions. This is fine, but there are tiny differences like how the newline is created in a windows notepad versus the zyBooks version (Unix I think).
